Adecco Staffing is parterning with a local manufacturer in Warwick, RI seeking an SMT operator on 1st shift. The hours will be 7AM-3:30PM M-F with a pay range of $27-$32 depending on experience.
Job Description: Immediate opening for an experienced SMT operator. This individual will be responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of SMT processes and equipment under guidance of the
Production Supervisor .
Responsibilities: - Setup of SMT and related equipment
- Read and understand process documentation
- Produce and submit 1st piece for approval
- Operate process equipment effectively to produce consistent high quality
- Inspect own work, detect defect trends and maintain high quality levels
- Hand placement of components
- Maintenance of SMT and related equipment
- Complete maintenance and process documentation
- Work closely with AOI to identify and resolve quality issues
Qualifications: - Must be computer literate, able to type and comfortable working with menu driven equipment software
- Capable of completing assignments with minimum guidance
- Dependable and efficient with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of J-STD/IPC standards
- Knowledge of component identification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years SMT, preferably with MyData equipment.
- Certified IPC Specialist and/or proven ability to meet qualifications.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
